The A2C Launches the Second Edition of its Barometer Study on EDI in the Workplace

The Association of Creative Communications Agencies (A2C), in collaboration with Concilium Capital humain, is proud to launch the second edition of the Étude baromètre sur l’équité, diversité et inclusion en milieu de travail (Barometer Study on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace) among its 95 member agencies.

This study, published for the first time in 2021, aims to assess the situation in agencies and to measure the impact of actions taken by the Association and its members over the past two years by analyzing three key aspects: organizational culture, workplace policies and regulations, and day-to-day leadership practices. The participation of all employees is essential to draw a realistic portrait of the industry.

Results leading change

The findings of the last study were instrumental in identifying the main areas of focus for the A2C action plan. Since then, many initiatives have been implemented to promote more inclusive workplaces and a diversity of perspectives within the industry. These include the implementation of the A2C’s EDI policy and the creation of a template for its member agencies, the development of our training program for agency executives, managers and employees, the monitoring of the socio-demographic reach of our initiatives, the use of inclusive writing, the creation of a resource pole dedicated to EDI on our website, and the ongoing consultation of experts within our agencies to ensure the accessibility of our initiatives and content.

“The A2C and its members have been committed over the past few years to promoting more inclusive and equitable practices for their current and future employees. This new edition of the study will serve as a review, but also as a guide for our next initiatives. While there is still much to do, I am proud of the progress we have made so far and confident that we are heading in the right direction,” says Dominique Villeneuve, President and CEO of the A2C.
