Over Fifty Agencies Will Be Welcoming The Next Generation Of Talents To Their Offices On February 10 For Agency Open House Day 2023

Montreal, January 10, 2023 – Cegep and university students from across the province are invited to discover the countless opportunities of the creative communications industry on February 10, at the A2C’s  Agency Open House Day. Back in person after two virtual editions, the event, organized in collaboration with the Alliance des cabinets de relations publiques du Québec (ACRPQ),  Grenier aux nouvelles and URBANIA, is the perfect opportunity to meet passionate professionals and to learn more about unique and stimulating career prospects.

This year, over 750 spots are available at the following agencies:

“This activity allows students to immerse themselves in the reality of agency professionals, to develop their network and to open up to new career paths. There are so many opportunities in our sector! The Agency Open House Day is the perfect way to discover them and experience the creative and dynamic work environment of creative communications agencies,” says Dominique Villeneuve, CEO of A2C.

To give them the opportunity to learn more about different topics, students will have 3-hour time slots with each of their mentor agencies. Several activities await them, such as presentations by professionals from different departments, case studies and/or campaigns, simulations, mentoring sessions, advice on how to break into the industry, and more!

Back again this year

In addition to this activity, the Grenier aux nouvelles will hold the webinar  « Se préparer et se démarquer lors de son entrée en agence : trucs et astuces de recruteurs » (Preparing and standing out when applying to an agency: tips and tricks from recruiters) on February 13. Offered in exclusivity to the first 100 people registered for the Agency Open House Day, this webinar aims to help the next generation prepare for the agency hiring process.

Furthermore, for a second year, four participants who wish to make their mark on the industry will be able to participate in the « Ambassadeur.rices des PO agence » program. This initiative will allow them to document their experience during the Agency Open House Day in an article  published on the A2C’s and Grenier aux nouvelles’ platforms. Scholarships awarded among the participants

To encourage students to continue their studies and to support them in their progress, $500 scholarships will be awarded to them using the money raised through registration fees. The scholarships will be randomly drawn among the participants of the event who completed the post-event survey.
