2025 IDÉA AWARDS
Winners are announced
Montreal, June 5, 2025 – The Association of Creative Communications Agencies (A2C), in collaboration with the Société des designers graphiques du Québec (SDGQ), has announced the winning projects of the 6th edition of the Idéa Awards. The winners of the Bronze and Silver awards were revealed online this morning while the Gold awards, the Juries’ Favorite, and the Best of Disciplines were presented during a festive event that took place this evening.
These awards celebrate excellence within Quebec’s strategic communications and creative industry. They also illustrate the industry’s astounding ability to generate brand value, especially amid an ever-changing environment, thereby contributing to the province’s economic, social, and cultural development.
THE 2025 BEST OF DISCIPLINES
Over 230 organizations submitted 1,275 entries in this year’s edition. Six (6) projects were awarded Best of Discipline – the competition’s highest distinction – in recognition for the exceptional quality of their execution, their innovative approach, their remarkable creativity, and their impressive business results.
Moreover, for the first time since the competition was created, one project took home the top prize in two (2) disciplines. Sid Lee and RONA’s “La langue de la réno” was rewarded for its ingenious creative concept and its well-aligned strategy. Proof of the key role creativity plays in solving modern business challenges.

“Today, we’re celebrating projects that showcase both creative brilliance and a clear ability to boost the performance of local brands. This success is due to a profound knowledge of their business challenges by a diversity of creative and strategic minds from various backgrounds, and a commitment to sustained innovation. Every business success story starts with an exceptional agency-client collaboration, which again reaffirms the strength of the unique bond between business and creativity. We’re proud to celebrate those who’ve helped position our industry as an indispensable driver of value, growth, and performance. And this includes marketing teams. In fact, for the first time ever, an award was given to the brand that most exemplified the powerful synergy between agencies and brands,” said Thomas Lecordier, President and CEO of the A2C.
“Every project that received an award embodies the power of creativity when fuelled by a bold vision and clear objective. These accomplishments illustrate how creative intelligence, when aligned with clear-cut business objectives, can transform brands, experiences, and collective mindsets. We salute those who challenge the status quo, redefine benchmarks, and demonstrate how creativity is the key to driving performance, meaning, and impact,” said Julie Royer and Mario Mercier, Co-Presidents of the SDGQ.
A campaign promoting the winners will be launched shortly. It will include an article dedicated to the Best of Disciplines in Hublo and in digital editions of the Journal de Montréal and the Journal de Québec starting on June 6. A special edition of Grenier magazine will also be published on June 9. Moreover, digital ads will run across various media including Québecor, La Presse, Les Affaires, and Radio-Canada.
