Montreal, December 7, 2022 – The Association of Creative Communications Agencies (A2C), in collaboration with the Alliance des cabinets de relations publiques du Québec, Grenier aux nouvelles and URBANIA, is launching the registration period of the 15th edition of Agency Open Day. Cegep and university students are expected to attend in large numbers on February 10th to immerse themselves in the world of creative communications agencies.
The goal of this activity is to demystify the world of agencies and to promote its many career possibilities. Through 3-hour visits, participants will have the opportunity to tour the premises of the company they are paired with, learn about its operations and culture, meet members of its staff, attend presentations on case studies and/or projects, participate in brainstorming and pitch simulations, various exercises and much more! It is also an excellent opportunity to develop their professional network and maybe even find an internship or a job!
Nearly forty agencies across the province have already confirmed their participation this year. Two time slots are offered to students interested in meeting them: from 9:00 a.m. to noon and/or from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. They simply need to fill out the registration form attached to the purchase confirmation email and A2C will match them with an agency based on their profile.
Return of the “Agency Open House Day Ambassadors” program
For a second year, four participants who wish to make their mark in the industry will be able to participate in the “Agency Open House Day Ambassadors” program. This initiative will allow them to document their experience during the Agency Open House, in an article that will be published on the A2C website and its platforms as well as in the Grenier aux nouvelles. A participation that could be quite rewarding
In addition to this activity, the Grenier aux nouvelles will hold a webinar entitled ” Se préparer et se démarquer lors de son entrée en agence : trucs et astuces de recruteurs ” (Preparing and standing out when applying to an agency: tips and tricks from recruiters) on February 13. Offered in exclusivity to the first 100 people registered for the Agency Open House Day, this webinar aims to help the next generation prepare for the agency hiring process.
Proceeds from the Agency Open House Day will be donated in the form of $500 scholarships to participants who complete the post-event survey in order to encourage them to continue their studies in programs related to creative communications.

Time: 9 a.m. to noon and/or 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Different agencies in Montréal, Mont-Tremblant, Québec, Saint-Lambert, Sherbrooke and Trois-Rivières (to this day)
Cost: 10 $ (15 $ starting January 3, 2023). The registration proceeds will then be distributed as scholarships among participants in a draw.
