Montreal, Quebec – January 9th, 2024 – The Association of Creative Communication Agencies (A2C) is proud to launch a new certification exclusively available to media professionals working within A2C member agencies called Certification Média d’ici. This workshop will enable them to enhance their knowledge of the local media ecosystem and develop even more effective media plans, ensuring a rightful place for local media in their recommendations.
Developed by a team of media experts, this one-day training program will combine both theory and practice. It will begin with a historical perspective on the Mouvement Média d’ici and the importance of preserving a strong Canadian media ecosystem. An exhaustive overview of the media landscape in the country, as well as insights into media habits of the Quebec population, will be provided. Finally, practical tools will complement the training to better equip professionals in crafting media plans that incorporate local media while ensuring optimal performance. The program will conclude with a certification test.
This initiative reflects A2C’s strong commitment to the vitality and sustainability of Canadian media, as stated by Dominique Villeneuve, President and CEO of A2C:
“Our media ecosystem is rich and diverse, offering advertisers performance and brand safety. This certification fosters a proactive approach by providing media professionals with the tools and support they need to effectively integrate more local media into their campaigns”
Dominique Villeneuve, President and CEO of A2C
Three dates are now open for registration: February 2nd (in-person in Montreal), March 22nd (in-person in Montreal), or April 26th (virtual) 2024.
