The careers of Yves Gougoux, Pierre Delagrave, and Normand Grenier celebrated by Quebec’s marketing and communications industry
Montreal, April 5, 2017 – The Association of Creative Communications Agencies (A2C) is proud to announce that it will induct three renowned professionals into its Hall of Fame in 2017: Yves Gougoux (Builder profile), Pierre Delagrave (Beacon profile), and Normand Grenier (Ally profile). Every year, the A2C’s Hall of Fame pays tribute to the careers of visionaries who have contributed to the excellence and vitality of Quebec’s extended marketing and communications industry. The 2017 inductees were selected unanimously by the A2C’s Board of Directors.
Comments from the selection panel
“Each inductee has and continues to make their own mark on the history of our industry. They are visionaries, individuals who are often pioneers and always passionate about marketing and communications. For many of us, they have deeply touched our careers and daily lives. The breadth of their achievements is remarkable and they have had an impact on the industry itself as well as the communities they’ve chosen to serve. We need to learn from them and build on their successes, to continue innovating as an industry and, more importantly, to push ourselves to do more for others, as citizens,” said François Lacoursière, Chair of the A2C’s Board of Directors and Senior Partner at Sid Lee.

Normand Grenier, Ally profile (1945-2017)

“Normand Grenier was an outstanding ‘networker’, but he was first and foremost someone who was truly devoted to the marketing and communications industry. He contributed to informing this industry and was also invaluable to helping it come together. He demonstrated an openness and sincere interest for other people, especially for tomorrow’s leaders and emerging companies.” *The deliberations of the selection panel took place in January 2017. We were all saddened to learn that Mr. Grenier passed away on March 19 after a battle with cancer.
