A2C unveils its new strategic plan and its 2023-2024 Board of Directors

 Montreal, November 23, 2023 – The Association of Creative Communications Agencies (A2C) today gathered its member agencies for its Annual General Meeting, held at the Wilder Building in Montreal. More than 165 agency Executives attended.

Following a strategic planning process by the Board of Directors, which included an extensive economic study and a member survey on industry issues, A2C’s ambition and purpose have been rethought to stay ahead of the parade and ensure the Association’s development. “We aspire to become a key industry in the creation of economic, social and cultural value in Quebec. Agencies play an undeniable role, distinguishing themselves through their highly strategic and creative input. A series of impactful initiatives will be deployed to demonstrate this in tangible ways, and to ensure the sector’s influence while promoting excellence,” says Manon Goudreault, Chair of the A2C Board of Directors and President of Agence dada.

During the AGM, the Association also welcomed a new Director, Bobby Destounis, (Panoply Media). In addition, Manon Goudreault (Agence dada), France Wong (Bleublancrouge), Louis Duchesne (Cossette), Frédéric Rondeau (Espace M) and Pénélope Fournier (LG2) were reappointed for a two-year term.

  • A colossal media coverage of the “J’appuie le Mouvement média d’ici” pledge, with mentions in over 40 different medias;
  • An 87% satisfaction rate among member agencies with A2C services;
  • An agreement in principle in the advertising production sector with the Union des artistes (UDA), in collaboration with the Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA);
  • Nearly 40 training classes offered through a robust continuing training program, and more than 600 agency professionals trained;
  • A first 100% presential edition of the Idea Awards, which gathered 3,185 participants for the online unveilings and Awards ceremony.
