The Joint Producers Association (APC) is in charge of negotiating collective agreements for producers of the advertising sector, as per the Act respecting the Professional Status and Conditions of Engagement of Performing, Recording and Film Artists.
This group comprises the Association of Creative Communications Agencies (A2C), the Association of Canadian Advertisers (ACA) and the Institute of Canadian Agencies (ICA). Note : The negotiations for the renewal of these two collective agreements have resumed. A mediator has been assigned to assist the parties. The 2012-2015 TV/Radio Collective Agreement
That agreement lapsed on August 31 2015, but its terms and conditions are still in effect until a new agreement is reached. However, some changes took effect as of February 1, 2020, and january 26, 2021.

The 2016-2018 Internet and New Media (INM) Collective Agreement
That agreement lapsed on March 31 2018, but its provisions remain in effect until a new one is signed.
